Thank you so much for your help, I have really enjoyed the course and have learnt so much. I will definitely be able to utilise some of my new found knowledge in my role as a Battersea volunteer. I must admit that the course has challenged the old grey matter at times and I am pleased that I have now completed it. I aim to share my excellent experience with my colleagues at Battersea. Thanks again. Ann 🙂

  2. Jayne Lovell

I loved this course! I found it really interesting and it continued to keep me focused and interested throughout. I felt supported by my online tutor and I feel the feedback was very fair and structured….. No way was I ever let off the hook if I wasn’t getting something right, but I was encouraged and praised too. This course has helped me hugely with my dog walking at The Dogs Trust rescue centre, where I was able to look at some of the dogs behaviour in a new light and put the theory into practice. The course also gave me further insight and supported me in my work as a dog groomer. I feel more confident in passing advice to my customers, and also to my friends and family. I feel an even closer bond with my fabulous furry clients, who I love more and more the more I learn about them! I absolutely recommend this course and I fully intend to continue with further courses in the future. Many Thanks to my online tutor Dee Tyler, I look forward to working with her again soon 🙂

I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole course, it’s given me such confidence knowing that I’m doing my very best for my dog, and that I have a greater knowledge of dogs in general.

A really great course that I would totally recommend to anyone wishing to further their canine knowledge.

  4. Christopher Bryden

This course has literally changes my life as after completing it I was taken on by the dogs home I was volunteering at. The course itself was really interesting and I enjoyed every aspect of it. My tutor was Dee Tyler and she was brilliant. Always giving me positive feedback, especially at the start when I wasn’t too confident, not having been a scholar when I was younger. I would recommend this course and BCCS to anybody without hesitation.

  5. Ruth Griffiths

It wasn’t easy to begin with but I’m so glad I kept going. It’s been so worthwhile and I have learnt so much, not just through the course content (which was amazing) but also proved to myself that I can study around a family and that my brain still works after having children! Thank for all your patience, support and guidance. I will definitely be recommending the course and college in the future.

  6. Graeme Cowey

To sum up, this course has been a massive help to me. The amount I have learned is phenomenal (it does help studying something you are interested in) and already I am putting some of this in to practice. I shall be going back over the whole lot in the coming weeks just to make sure it all sinks in properly. Thanks Dee for your comments and help throughout, never easy on me but that for me actually makes the whole thing more worthwhile and relevant, as a qualification for just turning up means nothing. It has pushed me, which is great, and that leads to further knowledge being attained.

  7. Liz Soryal

Having just completed this comprehensive course, I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who owns a dog, or plans to work with them. I wish I had realised how little I knew, before getting my rescue dog nine years ago, as this course would have been a huge help in understanding some of his behaviours and how I should address them. The course material is presented in an accessible way, and it was very enjoyable exploring the various subjects with some of my own reading. I invariably found that arguments were presented in a very balanced way, with clear explanations about why a particular course of action was advised over another. Thank you to Dee for her encouragement throughout.
